I would rate this place with five stars however my multiple interactions with an employee of theirs I believe her name is Lydia have made my review sour for this place. Can you please do something about her?! I've made multiple complaints to the management of this location however it appears nothing has been done. I have watched her talked down to, belittle & berate other employees out loud. I have witnessed her talking negatively about other Starbucks employees. for example I order a drink that I have ordered at Starbucks across the United States the same way every single time me tells me I'm wrong corrects/chastises, and this is how I need to order it she makes the drink how she wants to and not how I've ordered it and it's always wrong and I have to have someone else remake it. She does not acknowledge, welcome, or at least say have a good day when you leave. If I order a drink she won't even look me in my face. she's been rude on multiple accounts. not that I matter because of being a Starbucks gold member but I visit this place almost on a daily basis and the entire staff minus 1 is incredible. Zach is the one who won my business. My interactions with him, how pleasant he is, how knowledgeable he is and how he genuinely made me feel welcomed made my experience with this Starbucks more than exceptional. I rate zach, Nikki, Lawrence, Alex, Erica and several others with an outstanding 5 stars + . I pass 5 Starbucks locations to come to this one because of my experience with all but one of the staff. I would highly recommend you visiting this Starbucks but if Lydia is here turn around and leave. I'm serious run don't walk out of there

This Starbucks is awesome! They have some of the best baristas I've ever encountered! The afternoon/evening staff is amazing! It's so refreshing to see staff who seem to love their job and really like working with the public. Zach is the best! He's so friendly and makes the best drinks! He's our favorite! The store manager is very friendly and values his team. He does a great job! We bypass at least two other Starbucks to come to the W. 38th st/465 location. We always go to the drive thru so I can't say how it is inside but the drive thru staff go out of their way to make it a great experience for their customer! ***Update***..... We've gone inside several times now and this store is probably the nicest one I've ever bee too! Several months later and the staff is still great, the drinks are still amazing and Zach is still the best! And we still bypass two other Starbucks stores to get to this one! It's the best!! ***Update #2***.... Still love this store and Zach is still awesome! However, there is one manager that ruins my experience everytime she's there... Lydia! 😠Shes rude, tried to tell me I ordered my drink wrong and proceeded to correct me! Everyone else can make it but not her. She refuses to make it the way I order it! I've had to have someone else remake it several times. She doesn't acknowledge anyone who comes in the store and she talks down to other employees in front of customers. She's had multiple complaints yet she's still here. If she's working when I go in, I'll leave and go someplace else. She's that bad!

Super cheery staff, loved their positive attitudes! Unfortunately the very weak cup of latte threw me off. Very rare to get a cup of coffee that bad from a Starbucks. Latte just means steamed milk added, not drowning the coffee. Had I tried it before leaving the drive-thru I would've returned it.
